Mobile Telecoms Analyst

Mobile Telecoms Analyst £ Competitive Salary London A Mobile Telecoms Analyst is urgently required for a permanent opportunity based in London. The Mobile Telecoms Analyst would be required to specialise in the growing area of machine-to-machine (M2M) communications utilising the mobile network. The ideal candidate will show experience in mobile telecoms analysis and be able demonstrate an understanding of how M2M will grow and affect the mobile industry globally.

The role requires strong self-discipline and self-management and would suit a professional looking to work in a growing analyst team and expanding business. Multiple language ability would be an added bonus.

The main duties are as follows:
*Collect, normalise and standardise reported M2M connections
*Model out and forecast M2M data
*Help maintain data and forecasts in specific market segments with sufficient robustness that they can confidently be aggregated to give a national/regional/global picture of M2M connections.

Skills and experience required:
*Ideally a degree in economics, science, engineering or mathematics
*Strong analytical and numeracy skills
*Extremely proficient at Microsoft Excel
*Direct experience in data-centric projects across multiple countries
*Strong report writing skills and experience
*Multiple languages - multilingual would be highly desirable
*Forecasting experience would be an advantage
