Technical Specialist / Analyst (Connected TV)

Technical Specialist/Analyst (Connected TV/Mobile/PC) Salary: £35,000-£45,000 + Bonus Location: London (West End) This young and very exciting business consultancy who support many leading corporates in the TV, PC and mobile device sector seek an hands on Technical Consultant/Analyst to join their professional team.

One of the key ways they keep ahead of the game is through their in-house technology centre which showcases the newest and best technology on the market and enables them to keep their clients up to date with the development of a wide variety of connected TV devices and services from the UK, America and Asia.

A key member of the team then you will then:

1. Take full ownership of the Technology Centre ensuring products are set up for client shows and provide demonstrations and presentations.
2. Actively research and explore the market for the newest and best technology out there and bring this to the centre to show and educate the in-house team as well as clients.
3. Provide research, stats and analytic information on products and market to support the need of clients and help in-house consultants build business cases for then .. for example, you could spend a week researching what are the most popular TVs and STB sold in South America.

To be successful you must have the following skills and experiences:

Proven experience of working in the consumer electronic and connected TV space (come from Consumer Electronic Retail, main manufacture/OEM, Distributor, etc)
Proven understanding and awareness of market products within the digital media and technology sector
A high level of background knowledge of the key players in connected TV;
As detailed a technical understanding as possible of different connected TV devices and technologies. (You will need to be confident you can physically update, install and maintain the devices in the Tech Suite;)
An understanding of emerging trends in consumer behaviour around media and telecoms products
The ability to research disparate markets, companies and technologies, often under considerable time pressure
The ability to present and support at events
The ability to undertake quantitative analysis and modelling in Excel.
