Procurement Director - On Trade Drinks

Our client is a leading operator in the On Trade drinks sector.
Following a recent re-organisation they are looking to appoint a Procurement Director to control and lead the procurement team in the c700m+ annual purchasing of a comprehensive range of beverages.
Reporting to the Managing Director as part of the senior management team the successful candidate will be required to play a significant role in the execution of an exciting new strategy.
The ability to develop strong partnership supplier relationships, negotiating supply contracts, including full A&P support from some of the worlds leading brands will be a key element of the role.

   » 10+ years FMCG purchasing experience in the drinks industry with an expert knowledge of wine, beers and spirits.
   » 5+ years experience of leading and developing a team of buyers
   » Good understanding of the UK On Trade drinks market and a network of existing contacts
   » Educated to degree level
