Aussie workers not easily offended

The study found the most hated workplace behaviour is swearing
Australians are the most laid-back workers, and don’t easily get offended, a survey has found.

But they get more annoyed than other nationalities if a colleague doesn’t offer to buy or make them a drink while getting one for themselves, the Servcorp survey on workplace cultural differences found.

The study revealed that internationally the most hated workplace behaviours are swearing, people not greeting their colleagues, speaking loudly across the room, not offering office guests a drink, and taking calls on a speaker phone.

UK and US workers are easily offended by people using speaker phones, bad language and not receiving a morning greeting.
