CFOs' economy concerns

A total of 73 per cent of CFOs said it was what worried them the most.
The uncertain economic forecast is the main concern for chief financial officers (CFOs), according to a survey by recruiter Robert Half.

A total of 73 per cent of CFOs said it was what worried them the most.

Cash flow management (58 per cent) and increased regulatory burden (57 per cent) were the second and third biggest concerns for CFOs.

“Our results show that finance directors are braced for the economic situation to get worse before it gets better with CFOs effectively walking a tightrope right now,” said Phil Sheridan, managing director of Robert Half UK.
