Only 10 per cent of UK workers believe they’re in their perfect job, a survey by recruiter Monster shows.

However UK workers aren’t the most pessimistic in Europe. Only 3 per cent of Spain’s employees and 6 per cent of French workers believe they’re currently in the right job.

Meanwhile, 31 per cent of German workers believe their perfect job doesn’t exist. UK workers were much more upbeat, with a total of 76 per cent hopeful that their perfect job is out there.

If people do get bad news about their current role, they should take it as an opportunity to pursue their dream job, Julian Acquari of Monster UK recommends.
